I teach music because I believe it is an important part of being a human. It allows us to communicate, feel, share, and give. It lets us create and learn, two things I can't seem to get enough of! 

 

When I'm not teaching, I like to play with my boys at home (Sam & Will), ride horses, go distance running, and play music with my friends. I have a calico cat named Tobias and I love to be busy!

 

I grew up in northern Minnesota, where it's just trees and lakes and iron mining. Bob Dylan actually went to my high school. I still like to visit, but Chicago has become my new home.
